Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas launched in 2001 and is the third of the revolutionary five ship Voyager class. When these large, impressive ships were launched they were the biggest cruise ships afloat but have now been surpassed by the recent Icon class at almost double the size. Despite this – Adventure of the Seas is 1020 feet long at 137,276 tonnes and accommodates 3114 passengers at double occupancy over 15 passenger decks. There are 14 dining options, 4 pools and 2 adrenalin pumping waterslides. There are specific areas on board for children, families and adults only which appeals to all types of holiday maker from all walks of life.
