Celebrity Solstice launched the Solstice fleet of 5 ships as the first of the Fleet entering service in November 2008. The US at the time was the lawn club on the top deck with a glass blowing studio and a real grass for outdoor activities afloat with a difference. Picton is situated on the north coast of New Zealand's South Island and marks the gateway to the scenery the Marlborough Sounds islands. Visit the Edwin Fox Maritime Museum on a 19th-century former convict and cargo ship. EcoWorld Aquarium shelters and rehabilitates native animals such as tuatara reptiles and blue penguins. Perhaps explore the coastal forest, ridges and bays the following the Queen Charlotte Track.

Wellington

Located at the southern tip of the North Island and nestled between a beautiful harbour and rolling green hills, Wellington is New Zealand's capital city.
