Norwegian Joy
Norwegian Joy was launched in 2017 as the second of the Breakaway Plus class of ship following Norwegian Escape. She was originally designed for the Chinese market and in 2019 was refurbished and remodelled ready for the western market and repositioned to the USA. This 167,725-tonne ship has 20 decks with a wonderful range of signature Norwegian cruise Line facilities, an amazing line-up of 19 dining options and 14 bars. The ship features a bespoke virtual reality gaming complex in the Pavilion, a go-kart racetrack at sea, an incredible observation lounge, a laser tag course and Broadway style shows in the theatre.
With 19 dining options on board the choice is yours. Complimentary choices in the three main dining rooms (Taste, Savour, and Manhattan) and the Garden Cafe self-service buffet restaurant; you can even eat 24/7 at The Local Bar and Grill or opt for room service. Speciality dining includes top signature NCL favourites of Le Bistro (French), La Cucina (Italian), Teppanyaki (Asian Fusion hotplate), Cagney's Steakhouse, Texas Smokehouse Q, Ocean Blue (seafood), Food Republic (World -wide i-Pad menus), The District Brewhouse and more. Take advantage of most of these with the free speciality dining package included in the price. The Waterfront promenade area is lined with bars and restaurants for Al-fresco dinning too.
The main pool area includes two swimming pools, two hot tubs and an aqua fun park with two breath-taking waterslides. Spice H2O doubles as an adults only sunbathing area by day and an adults only outdoor nightclub at night hosting events such as the White Hot Party. For a more select sunbathing experience opt for the Vibe Beach Club.
