Christopher Columbus statue at the gateway to the cruise port all the way to up
to the Place de Catalunya. Off to the right-hand side is the unfinished and
eye-catching draw of the city - The Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Off to the
left-hand side of Catalunya Square is the university area which offers a great
nightlife scene away from the tourist crowds of Las Ramblas. Sightseeing,

This brilliant star shines even brighter
since her grand makeover in October 2015. This 91,000-tonne ship launched in February
2001 and is smaller today by modern standards which makes for a more select

Barcelona away from the madness of Las Ramblas which is a 15 minute walk away
and also 15 minutes’ walk to the Plaça de Catalunya. This eco-certified hotel
is 0.8 mi (1.2 km) from Casa Batllo and 0.7 mi (1.2 km) from Boqueria Market.
The area is filled with local shops, bars and cafes which offer a much more
cosmopolitan experience (and at a lower price too) than the main tourist area
of Las Ramblas.
The 124 individually decorated
