Singapore-Bali-Thailand-Malaysia
16 Nights
Celebrity Millennium
Explore upto five different countries in one holiday in
modern luxury. From an island of shopping malls in Singapore to islands of
iconic movie shots in Thailand. Soak up the wonderful scenery of Malaysia,
delve into Indonesian culture and experience the Balinese beaches and Monkey
Sanctuary in Ubud.
The island
nation of Singapore makes a holiday destination in its own right - let alone
the perfect prelude to this wonderful far eastern exploration cruise. Singapore is situated at the end of the Malaysian
peninsula where this tropical paradise is often referred to as the “Island with
a thousand shopping malls”. Visit the 2.2km stretch of Orchard Road - the
Oxford Street of Singapore, Chinatown, Little India and the vast Bugis Street
Market. Enjoy a tour of Chinatown, have afternoon tea in the famous Raffles
Hotel or take a cable car ride to Sentosa Island for some panoramic views. Gardens by the Bay is a nature park with futuristic
looking tree sculptures covering 101 hectares of land, adjacent to the Marina
Reservoir. You will find two waterfront conservatories: the Flower
Dome and the Cloud Forest; and the Supertree Grove with 18 manmade trees which reach heights of up to 16 storeys.
The best time to visit Gardens by the Bay is in the late afternoon,
around 4-5pm. Start with the cooled conservatories and then go up to the OCBC
Skyway in the evening when the temperature is cooler. At the Supertree Grove,
there is a nightly show (free admission), that showcases the magical lights of
the super trees to music. You can also visit the Sky Park observation deck 57
floors on top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel.
Kuala
Lumpur is the modern capital city of Malaysia and
home to the world-famous Petronas Towers which are linked by a sky bridge at
level 41 and 42, the observation deck is on floor 86. For a more traditional
experience visit bustling Chinatown. Penang, known as the pearl of the orient, is situated on the
northwest side of the Peninsular Malaysia where hanging around on the beach is one
of the many options to choose from. Penang is especially known as the best
place to enjoy wonderful local dishes as it is seen as the food capital of
Malaysia. While Langkawi is an archipelago of islands in the Andaman Sea 30 km
of the coast of the Malaysian Peninsula - famous for its powder white sand
beaches, rice paddies, waterfalls and rainforest. Talking of rain forests – Phuket also has a rain forest – this mountainous
island is also in the Andaman Sea and has some of Thailand’s most popular
beaches.
