Royal Caribbean Star of the Seas launched in July 2025 and is the second of the spectacular Icon class of ship – the largest cruise ships afloat. Once you are on board – you will not realise you are on a ship unless you happen to be outside near the edge and notice something passing by. This ship is certainly a feat of modern engineering and seeing is believing that this city afloat can actually move between destinations. This ship is almost 1200 feet long at 250,800 tonnes and accommodates 7516 passengers at double occupancy over 20 passenger decks. There are 20 dining options including the Aqua Dome Market food hall, 9 pools and 6 adrenalin pumping waterslides. There are specific areas on board for suite guests, children, families and adults only which appeals to all types of holiday maker from all walks of life.

The Royal Promenade is a central avenue on board over two decks lined with bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. At the heart of the Royal Promenade is the Pearl - a 16-metre diameter globe spanning four decks in height. This is a revolutionary artistic masterpiece which connects this inside Royal Promenade space to the outside and the sea. A place to relax, people watch, enjoy a drink and a memorable sensory experience all at the same time.

Entertainment on board seems endless. Of note are the Back to the Future musical, Escape room, Aqua Dome, Absolute Zero ice arena, Central Park, Flow rider surfing, Swim & Tonic swim up pool bar and the Music Hall nightclub.
