All
Inclusive Boutique Indian Ocean Cruises
19 Nights
Azamara
Cruises
Cruise the Indian Ocean between South Africa and Mauritius or the Seychelles
for an exotic Cruise ship holiday experiencing the small ship boutique style of
Azamara Cruises. These all-inclusive cruises are a select upmarket treat with
the added bonus of bucket list hotel stays in Cape Town, Mauritius or the
Seychelles.
Pristine tropical
beaches, diverse cultures, rugged natural beauty, and tranquil temples;
cosmopolitan Mauritius has something for everyone. Highlights include a visit to Tamarind Falls
– a string of seven waterfalls set in a breathtaking tropical valley, the
Crocodile Park for its namesake and a host of other local wildlife and Black
River Gorges National Park, where you can hike to the highest point of the
Island.
Located northeast of
Madagascar, the Seychelles are an archipelago of 158 islands in the Indian
Ocean and is famous for its deserted idyllic white sandy beaches and crystal
clear turquoise waters. Victoria is its capital
city, located on Mahe Island. No visit to the Seychelles would be complete
without a visit to the rock pools, boulders and palm tree lined beaches of La
Digue.
Zanzibar is a Tanzanian archipelago off the coast of
East Africa. On its main island, Unguja, familiarly called Zanzibar, is Stone
Town, a historic trade centre with Swahili and Islamic influences. Its winding
lanes present minarets, carved doorways and 19th-century landmarks such as the
House of Wonders, a former sultan’s palace.
Most of these unique voyages are topped off with a taste of a holiday
to South Africa. In Cape Town enjoy the delights of the
V&A Waterfront area with its nightlife, restaurants, shops and beach or
take the Gondola cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain for magnificent
views. You will have the opportunity to go on safari or visit the nearby by wine
growing regions.
Included in these marvellous cruise holidays is a full day safari tour
with lunch to the Aquila Game Reserve. After departing from your hotel, travel
to Aquila, proclaimed a Private Nature Reserve in 1985, this 4-star, malaria
free, 4,500 hectare reserve is steeped in Boer War history and boasts three
pristine biomes of vegetation set in the magnificent Karoo mountains, valleys,
rivers and kloofs. Upon arrival enjoy a welcome drink served in the reception
area before making your way to the restaurant where guests will then enjoy a
buffet breakfast before departing on a 2-to-3-hour safari in 4x4 safari
vehicles with a ranger guide. Upon returning from your game drive enjoy a
buffet lunch served in the African Boma restaurant. After lunch guests are able
to relax at the pool and are welcome to browse the African curio shop before
returning to Cape Town.
