Plan ahead and book this one off cruise adventure combining Venice and the Greek Islands  with a bucket list cruise through the Suez Canal and island hopping across the Indian Ocean to South Africa. This wonderful adventure starts in Venice where we have chosen the handy Plaza Hotel in Mestre which is at the end of the causeway that links Venice to the mainland and is just one train stop away. This cuts out expensive and complicated water taxi transfers. Also from Mestre it is just a short taxi hop to the nearby cruise terminal of Marghera where MSC is the only cruise line to be based there. All other cruise lines use cruise terminals that are more than 2 hours drive away from Venice.

 

Discover the legend of the Labyrinth and Minotaur on Crete, stand in the footsteps of the Colossus of Rhodes and visit ancient Petra in Jordan - Indiana Jones style. Witness the spectacle of cruising through the Suez Canal and relax on the beaches of Sharm El Sheikh. There is even island hopping across the Indian Ocean to the island paradises of the Seychelles, Mauritius and Reunion. This wonderful cruise holiday is topped off with a visit to Africa where the flora and fauna of Madagascar and Zululand will create lifelong memories.

 

Wherever you are in the Zulu Kingdom you are no more than three hours from Africa’s iconic big five. The included Big 5 Bucket list Safari gives you the best chance to see the Big 5 on a day tour within KwaZulu Natal. As you may know wildlife, especially predators, are most active around dawn and dusk and so after a 5am start you will enter into a Premier Private Game Reserve and meet your knowledgeable ranger. Listen to a briefing on game drive etiquette before you start your three hour morning safari.

Your ranger will track wildlife while keeping tabs on sightings throughout the reserve giving you the best chance to be in the right place at the right time. This reserve only permits travellers staying at their luxury lodges to traverse the park, unless you’re with us of course. Time for lunch. After lunch we’re heading deeper into the reserve. Embark on another three hour game drive focusing on different game. At approximately 16h00 we will depart for Durban.
